Trolleys seat 24-35 people so they are more economical than renting and tipping multiple limousines. They can also be utilizing as shuttle service for events with limited parking.

We will provide to you and your guests a most memorable journey. The entire Wedding Party can ride together making your ride to the ceremony one to be remembered! This added touch would create the most charming photos. Trolleys may be decorated to match the theme or colors of any wedding or event and are perfect for candid group wedding portraits and videos.
Reservations are usually booked 8-12 months in advance of wedding, prom and graduation dates; summer dates sell out very quickly. To secure your date, contact us via phone or email. If this is a last minute need call us anyway, we can occasionally pull a rabbit out of a hat and make your day…HOW DO WE BOOK IT
A 50% credit card deposit will secure your date and time. The balance is not due until 2 weeks prior to your event date in the form of a cashier's or personal check. We must have a valid, current credit card on file however. Please note that an online inquiry is NOT a guaranteed reservation, an agreement must be in writing and on file along with required deposit before your date is secured.WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT
A deposit saves your date and also locks in your quoted rate. There are a very limited number of specialty vehicles in Southern California and the most popular seasons book very early. A deposit of 50% must be received before we guarantee a vehicle for you.WHAT IS THE AVERAGE TIME BOOKED FOR A WEDDING
It varies but typically runs 5+ hours. The actual desired use of the trolley (wedding party transportation only, parking shuttle, hotel shuttle etc) the distance you travel between venues, the number of trips, the length of your wedding ceremony and the amount of time for photographs etc; all have to be taken into consideration when booking. Please be sure to account for all aspects of travel time when reserving your trolley. Things to consider are the time needed to load and offload passengers, traffic, quality of roads, speed limits, other events in the area etc. Trolleys are large commercial vehicles and may not be able to navigate certain roads or conditions in the same period of time as a standard passenger vehicle. Applications such as GPS, Google maps etc are not accurate. It is the client responsibility to allow for appropriate travel time. The cost of renting a trolley varies with each event. The fee is based on the distance the trolley has to travel from our base of operations to the initial location as well as the number of hours the trolley will be used. Your clock starts when we arrive at your initial location.WHO IS OUR COOL DRIVER
CA Law requires any transport above 9 people to have enhanced licenses. Above 16 Passengers requires a CDL Commercial License with Passenger endorsement. (CLASS A or B+P). You should always ask to see their license, medical card and insurance of any carrier you use.IS THE TIP INCLUDED
A DRIVER GRATUITY of 20% is the going rate for service professionals. Your Driver is a Commercially Licensed driver with special endorsements to drive a trolley and carry passengers.OOPS! CLEANING AND REPAIRS
The Customer is responsible to return the vehicle to the Company in the same condition it was sent out. The total cost of any excess cleaning or repair of damage and loss of use of vehicle will be billed to the customer. California Trolley reserves the right to require a minimum refundable security/cleaning deposit of $500 for any event.ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Charters exceeding the miles or hours booked will be billed for additional charges. The Driver is not allowed to accept direct payment to change the reservation parameters in any way, with out the direct approval of a CAT Authorized agent.EXTRA FEES
Booking price does not include admission fees, tolls, parking, etc., unless noted; off-site parking, tolls, airport fees and entry fees for parks and/or attractions are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise arranged in advance and noted in contract. Parking must be available for the vehicle; if no parking is available or accessible, it is up to the customer to arrange for appropriate transport to the trolley and any additional transport for the driver.WHEN IS MY ITINERARY DUE
We would like to receive your final itinerary no later than 2 weeks days prior to your event date. We will contact you approximately 1 week before your event to review your itinerary and discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your service. An approved itinerary is required. Approval of itinerary does not ensure that the Customer's estimated travel time is correct.WHEN DOES OUR CONTRACT SERVICE START
Your contract service clock usually starts when we arrive at your initial location depending how far from our Base you are.CAN WE BRING FOOD AND BEVERAGE ON THE TROLLEY
Yes. You may bring food and beverage onto the trolley providing there is no excessive or unreasonable cleaning. BY LAW, Alcohol is allowed only if ALL passengers are over 21, and cannot be consumed outside the vehicle.CAN THE TROLLEY BE DECORATED
Trolleys can be decorated only with prior approval and with approved decorations. No confetti or similar item is allowed. We can also coordinate floral designs and other decorations. An additional security deposit may be required depending upon the type of decorating/decorations desired.CAN WE LEAVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS ON THE TROLLEY
This practice is discouraged and important to note that any personal items left in the vehicle are solely your responsibility. If something is left behind and we find it, we will be happy to hold it for you for pick up locally. However, drivers can’t be responsible for items left on board and California Trolley will not be responsible for any driver’s acceptance of such responsibility.CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation requests must be in writing and received by California Trolley by mail or otherwise confirmed in writing and signed by an authorized representative of California Trolley. A cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total trip cost, plus Gratuity, is charged to the credit card on file for any cancellation that is made less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled pickup time. All cancellations prior to fourteen (14) days of your event start time will be reimbursed at 50% of the charter deposit, any cleaning or security deposits will be refunded at 100%. Service ending early for any reason including dangerous behavior will be charged for the total amount specified in the original booking unless approved in writing by an authorized representative of California Trolley. A change in date of service shall be deemed a cancellation unless otherwise approved in writing by an authorized representative of California Trolley. Please be sure to refer to the verbiage in your contract for more detailed information. If you have any questions regarding terms of service, please contact California Trolley.COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
All itineraries must allow the driver and the Company to comply with all Federal, State and local regulations or ordinances. Neither the Company nor the Driver is responsible for any delays, changes of schedule or cancellations resulting directly or indirectly from any act of God, public enemies, authority of law, quarantine, perils of navigations, riots, strikes, the hazard or dangers incident of a state of war, accidents, breakdowns, road conditions, weather conditions, and other conditions beyond the Company’s control. Drivers must stop at all RxR crossings and have instructions to drive at all times at a speed within the limits prescribed by law and compatible with safe operation. Unusual road, traffic, and weather conditions are beyond the control of Driver and Company and California Trolley shall not be liable to Customer for delay or non-performance.
